Healthy Eating

We offer our children healthy, nutritious and balanced meals and snacks which meet individual needs and requirements.

Our summer and winter menus are based on a bi-weekly rota providing our children with a range of nutritional food cooked freshly in our kitchen by our fully qualified and experienced chefs.

Fruit and water is accessible to all our children at all times throughout the day and at reception to all our visitors.  Starting in the Toddler Room, children can help themselves to their cups of water and as our children grow in confidence they are eventually able to pour their own water and help themselves to a piece of fruit.

We always encourage children at our nurseries to try a variety of different foods, including different meat and vegetarian dishes, as well as food from around the world.

Children are also taught where their food comes from and how it’s grown to encourage engagement and interest in the foods they’re eating.
