Go Outdoors Pre-School and Holiday Club is the realisation of a shared dream to give children the best start in life by being free to play in a natural environment.
We are a free, funded term-time only nursery for 2–5 year olds and also run before/after school care and holiday club for children from 4 -11 years.
We are the sister setting to Ofsted Outstanding Giant Leap Childcare and Learning Centre, located right next to each other in Burnley, and run under the same ownership and management team, we have created a truly wonderful indoor and outdoor space for children to enjoy every day.
Our Approach
We use a range of theories and methods, including elements from Forest Schooling, Montessori, Reggio, and The Curiosity Approach, and combine them all together into our own “Go Outdoors’ Educational approach”, which fits into our community and culture.
Our passionate team are highly qualified and experienced, and are committed to the children’s development and learning. We believe in encouraging independence and mindfulness through unstructured and open-ended play, and our unique setting gives children space and freedom, which promotes a child-led, holistic experience.
